Cancellation of an electronic account in case requested in writing by the agency or organization that has the account
Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security.
+ In person: submit the application directly at the headquarters of the Immigration Department.
+ Online: submit an online application through the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security.
+ Postal service: submit the application entirely via the postal service or submit additional documents via public postal service according to the notice of the Immigration Department on the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of Ministry of Public Security (if any).
Step 1: Prepare documents according to the provisions of law.
Step 2: Submit your dossiers
* Agencies and organizations in Vietnam directly submit at office hours on working days of the week or send the dossier via the public postal service to one of the two headquarters of the Immigration Department - the Ministry of Public Security:
+ No. 44-46 Tran Phu, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi city;
+ Number 333-335-337 Nguyen Trai, District 1, City. Ho Chi Minh .
Or submit an online application through the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security and send additional documents via the public postal service according to the notice of the Immigration Department on the National Service Portal or Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security (if any).
* In case of directly submitting dossiers:
Immigration officer who receives dossier shall check the legality and content of dossier:
+ If the written request for cancellation of the electronic account is complete, receive the dossier and print the receipt and give it to the submitter.
+ If the content of the written request for cancellation of an electronic account is incomplete, request the submitter to supplement.
* In case of submitting dossier entirely via public postal service :
Immigration officer check the legality and contents of the dossier and shall:
+ If the content of the written request for cancellation of an electronic account is incomplete, sent a written request to the submitter for supplementation.
+ If the written request for cancellation of an electronic account is complete, consider and reply in writing to the agency or organization .
* In case of online application:
+ If the dossier is complete and valid, dossier receiving officer shall notify the reception on the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security.
+ If the dossier is incomplete or invalid, dossier receiving officer shall send a notice on the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security for the applicant to complete the dossier.
+ If the dossier is not eligible, the dossier will be refused, and a notice will be sent on the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security, clearly stating the reason.
* The person who requests to cancel the electronic account can request to receive the results by postal service and must pay the delivery fee.
* Time to receive dossiers: From Monday to Saturday morning (except New Year's Day, public holidays).
Step 3: Receive the result
+ Agencies or organizations directly receive the official reply at the Immigration Department or receive the results via the public postal service (follow the instructions of the postal service provider) or receive the documents in electronic version via the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security .
+ Time to receive results: From Monday to Friday every week ( except New Year's Day and public holidays ).
