Procedures for issuing electronic visas at the request of agencies, organizations
Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security.
Via the electronic visa web portal or the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security.
Step 1: Agencies, organizations in Vietnam access the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security (domain name in Vietnamese: https://dichvucong.bocongan.gov.vn, in English https://e-services.mps.gov.vn), use the provided e-account to log in and submit electronic visa application or the National Public Service Portal to apply for an e-visa for foreigners.
Step 2: To fill in the foreigner's information, upload a portrait photo and passport bio-data page. After completing this step, the system will provide agencies or organizations with the electronic dossier code.
Step 3: Use electronic signature to confirm your application.
Step 4: Pay visa fee to the account on electronic visa web portal or the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security after receiving the electronic dossier code from the immigration authority.
Step 5: Get results
+ The agency, organization use the electronic dossier code to check status on the electronic visa web portal or the National Public Service Portal or the Public Service Portal of the Ministry of Public Security, in case an electronic visa is granted, grant the electronic dossier code for the foreigner to print the electronic visa.
+ Working time: 24 hours / 07 days.
Within 03 working days from the date of receiving complete application for electronic visa and visa fee.

+ Information about applying for an electronic visa (NA1a) is posted on the electronic visa web portal.
+ Portrait photo 4cm x 6cm; photo of passport biodata page is uploaded to the electronic visa web portal in accordance with regulations.
+ Agencies and organizations in Vietnam have electronic accounts as prescribed in Clause 2 , Article 16b of the Consolidation Document No. 27/VBHN-VPQH consolidating the Law on entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam issued by the National Assembly Office on December 16, 2019 and has an electronic signature in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Electronic Transactions.
+ Foreigners who have passports and not falling into case where entry is not allowed specified in Article 21 of the Law on Foreigners’ entry into, exit from, transit through and residence in Vietnam.
+ Foreigners who are citizens of countries on the list to be granted electronic visas according to the Government's Resolution.
+ Law on Foreigners’ Entry into, Exit from, Transit through and Residence in Vietnam (Law No. 47/2014/QH13 dated June 16, 2014); was amended and supplemented in 2019 (Law No. 51/2019/QH14 dated November 25, 2019).
+ Circular No. 57/2020/TT-BCA dated June 10, 2020 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 04/2015/TT-BCA dated January 5, 2015 of the Ministry of Public Security regulating the form of paper documents related to the entry, exit, transit and residence of foreigners in Vietnam.
+ Circular No. 25/2021/TT-BTC dated April 7, 2021 of the Ministry of Finance regulating the collection, payment, management and use of fees and charges in the field of exit, entry, transit and residence in Vietnam.
